USES
SIMPLE PRESENT is used
- when we talk about habits:
I get up at 6 every morning.
- to express a fact that stays for a long time(state):
We live in the USA.
- Always true about a person or about the world: The sun rises in the east.
It rains a lot in Britain.
The spelling of third person singular:
- add –s to the base form of the verb
(wants,eats,reads,writes,helps..)
- add –es when the verb end in ss,sh,ch,x,o
(kisses, goes,fixes,watches,washes)
- add –ies when the verb end in
(FLY—FLIES)
